Things to keep in mind when going for a solo travel in India.

  • There will always be risk associated when you travel, be it in a group or solo.

  • Collect Information of the place as much as possible before travelling, from youtube, google or reviews and get a rough idea of the place so you won’t feel like a tourist.

  • Try to wear a simple dressing or local dress, so you can easily mix with local people and understand more about there tradition and culture and there way of daily living.

  • Mindfulness: Always be aware of your surrounding, observation plays a vital role here.

  • Never ever lose your sense in excitement like riding a bike in hill station where you enjoy the beauty of nature and at the same time you have to be careful while riding because a moment can change the life.

  • Don’t trust anyone too much, talking to other travellers or local is fine on some general topic but don’t share your personal information such as financial status and if you feel vulnerable then be confident and pretend like you have lot of friends from this area.

  • Be polite to everyone and rise the voice if situation demands, always be confident like you are much aware of this place, fake it until you make it.

  • Go for the stay and restaurant where rating and reviews are good, remember your safety is utmost important so properly go through the review before booking a stay and try to get a healthy and hygienic food.

  • Take proper rest to energize for the next day, taking complete rest will always help you to plan your day properly and keep you active throughout the day.

  • Live the moment to the fullest like it is not going to come back again, we never know if we would be able to come back here again or not so forget everything and just be in the moment. This is the best gift you can give to yourself.

Enjoy!! Your the captain of your Life 🙂
